GENERAL INFORMATION
“I love working at the Historical Society of Frederick County because I get to teach and learn at the same time.”
The Historical Society of Frederick County relies on volunteers to help fulfill its mission. Volunteering with the Historical Society is a fun, social, opportunity to learn more about local history and make new friends. Training is provided, so no experience is necessary.
Each volunteer opportunity is unique and the Historical Society will help you choose the right one for your interests and schedule.
Want to know more? Stop by our Volunteer Open House!
Society staff and volunteers will be on hand to give you the full scoop on volunteering with the Historical Society. Learn more about what each volunteer position entails, and treat yourself to a behind-the-scenes look at the Society's museum and library collections.
