Repudiation On November 23, 1765, one of the first official acts against the British Government took place in Frederick County. In an act of defiance against the unpopular Stamp Act, members of the Frederick County Court issued a writ on unstamped, untaxed paper. Their act of defiance was greeted by angry residents who hung the stamp collector in effigy and buried a copy of the despised act.

COSTS

Prices assume required chaperone ratio of 1:5-7 students. Additional chaperones are charged at student rate.

Basic field trip (1 program): $3 per student, teachers free, chaperones free
Combo field trip (2 or more programs): $4.50 per student, teachers free, chaperones free
In-Class program: $3 per student, teachers and student aids free
Teacher members: Get a 25% discount for their class. Teacher Memberships cost $10 per year.
